They looked great. We immediately cooked a few things--burgers, an omelet, veggies, etc. The heat was even and the food didn't stick.But, the second time we used the middle size one, blotches of the cooking surface separated from the metal. We probably ended up eating it, and we didn't die, so it couldn't have been too toxic; still we threw that pan out. We contacted the company and got a replacement set. That one has also turned out to have problems with the surface. Still, we are being careful and plan to keep using it, because it's a LOT better than the one old pan we had before. The company's response to problems was great, and we have certainly gotten our money's worth from these. I don't expect that they will last too long, and I probably won't buy the same ones again, but as a 'starter set' (my wife's term--I'm not sure why we need a 'starter set' after 26 years of marriage) they are fine. |
